So I already fucked up my 2017 trd pro

Well, I decided to take the trd pro out to see what it could do. The bed cover became loose and smacked into the back window. The dealership in Los Angeles said the read window is on indefinite back order. Anyone have any connections at Toyota?

 

Call your insurance company. Glass companies should already have those replacements in.

If you go insurance route, make sure you strongly request an OEM replacement for your current year model.. Just in case there is an AM avaliable.
Insurance companies are just there to make money, not to help anyone

 

What did you go over when the cover popped up?

Rear glass on 2017 pro, sport and OR is new because of the power slider. I would think Toyota has some, but I could see how it's limited currently

 

Who put on the bed cover? They should be taking care of it for you.

 

OUCH ! and Damn ! No one hurt is what matters but sounds like a job for the all mighty Duct tape for a while.

 

Cover was flat on the bed. Dealership installed it in Atlanta. Drove cross country no problems.

 

North Hollywood Toyota says it's been on back order since august.

 

Depending on what rear glass you have 2 are available and 2 are on backorder with 0 in the country and 0 coming in, i do toyota parts

 

Well, I have the power window. It's for the Tacoma trd pro......they have four different ones for the pro?

Keep in mind if you report to insurance you pay the deductible and higher premiums for 3 years.

 

Doubtful on the rates. This would likely fall under a no fault comprehensive claim, not an accident so no surcharge.
