All Tundras are made in Texas. Some Tacomas are built there too. Some Tacomas still come from Mexico.

Just look for all the things labeled “Delphi” in your new Tacoma there not hard to find, lots of them, good old American co. Wonder how many of his friends are employed in TX by Toyota?

My last 2 Chevrolet's were made in Mexico. My last 2 Fords were made in Canada. My last 2 Toyotas were made in the USA. That dude needs to do a fact check. Regardless, in this economy with the prices of new trucks Toyotas are a much better value. I drove my '07 4Runner for 3 years and sold it for $1500 less than I paid for it and when I traded in my '10 Tacoma on my '12 I got exactly what I paid for it on trade-in. It would be tough to find a GM/Ford/Dodge stealership that will do the same.
    <3 Toyotas!

My previous 2 vehicles, a '99 Grant Am GT and an '07 Impala SS were built in Mexico and Canada, respectively. I get super annoyed when people go on their rants about only buying American and not buying foreign products. I have NO problem with supporting American jobs but most of these people have no clue about economics or the auto industry. They think buying a domestic branded vehicle made in Mexico helps the US economy out than a foreign vehicle manufactured in the US. Best part is when they say that Canada is basically the US so any vehicle made in Canada is basically American made cause it's all North American.

I will always buy the vehicle I like the most. I'm not going to buy something from an American company if it's inferior just so I can run around waving my American flag thinking I'm better than the next guy without actually knowing what I'm talking about.

a couple years ago or so when toyota was going through all the weird stuff with the gas pedal etc. I seemed to be under fire a bit that year. I was leaving a bar in my tacoma and some little dumbshit walking out said "who drives a toyota" to which I replied your mother.

I have a first gen Tacoma and though most of it is made in Japan, when ive been working on it a pulled parts out if it, many of them are made in American, Aisin parts which are made in my hometown in Tennessee, timken bearings and many other great american parts. An thats just the first gen, 2nd gens have many of many of parts and assembly plants in the US. I have also been to the toyota plant in kentucy where camrys and venzas and some other car that I cant recall are made. So the whole foreign thing is BS.
