I'm not sold on the front end, but they did a few little minor changes here and there on the interior and stuff that I do like. I also noticed they added front cargo tie-downs in the box, instead of just the rear d-rings.

Notice how those that see the 2012 as an improvement over the previous second gen (95)or are at least neutral on it (106) are leaving the negative Nancy's (64) in the dust? It was only a matter of time .

The subaru WRX is the only production car with a functional hood scope that comes to mind. Even then it is for an intercooler not an intake system. Why would anyone expect a functional hoodscoop on a truck? Mustang Gt's don't even have a functional scoop.

    Mustangs are fraudulent as well.

the point was, i don't understand why a car company would put something so useless on a vehicle.

Alot of car/trucks these days have things on them that are either none functional or useless and are their just for looks. Some cars on the trunk have small lip spoilers as opposed to big spoilers, bigger ones might serve a purpose but I don't like the look of a big spoiler, I prefer a lip style spoiler. Even though it doesn't do anything except look better, I think a subtle lip spoiler looks better than no spoiler at all, IMO. Take emblems for example, they serve no purpose really other than advertising, yet some people leave them on, and some take them off for a cleaner "look". ;)

Finally saw my first 2012 Tacoma today - at the dealership when I was buying mine :D

I love it! It looks so great in person. This dealer had at least 20 other 2012's lined up in the back of their lot and I gotta say the new front looks way more catchy than the previous years with it's more angular, aggressive face. Regardless, I voted that it isnt better or worse - the pre-2012's still look awesome too.
