The Industry FIRST GoPro Mount makes up for the obvious lack of cupholders.

Ok time for me to give up,

@unclezippy, what about the manual. Love mine, I can say there are some things that could be better, but everytime I read one of these threads, I am happy I demanded they order me my MT. Sorry for my role in derailing your thread, I wish I could blame the whiskey, but I would probably do it sober. You should check out the NE forum, and the Maine one. These more of us on here than I realized, we need to see about gathering for some sort of backwoods adventures.

That's why there are so many of them.

Just kidding. You're obviously like me and have giant hands....and feet....it's all a matter of perspective.

All third gens have the mount. It's what sets us apart.

You walk into the dealership - a joint Toyota and Chevy dealership.

Salesman says you can have this ZR2 or this Pro for the same price. The ZR2 has an EIGHT speed transmission. The ZR2 has two lockers. The ZR2 has apple car play. The ZR2 has rear disk brakes. The ZR2 gets better gas mileage.

    Which do you pick?

Duh, the Tacoma....because it has the industry FIRST GoPro mount.

Never underestimate the power of The Mount.

Back to uncle zippys idea of moving on to another vehicle. My brother bought a 4 cylinder Canyon and he likes it. He had some frustrating electrical stuff to work through but it does tow nice. I don’t really get the diesel advantage though. The gas is more expensive. Seems like a wash and not sure about the long term build quality on the canyon. Probably fine. The fucking air dam on the front lowers the ground clearance but you can take that off.

Back on topic: (i know, crazy)

I'm convinced that there is some sort of slow release Toyota Kool-Aid gas seeping out of this thing, because I freaking love the little fucker. And I mean, I like the crappy stuff like the dumb min-adjustable non-power seats, and the hundreds of tiny cup holders, and the ridiculous "adjustable" steering wheel, and the dumb sliding window and its weird button that I have to learn to use every time, and the lack of a moonroof...and lots of other dumb stuff. I honestly think there's sort of a half-assed aesthetic that I buy into with this thing.

now if it breaks down after 50k miles, that all goes out the tiny nearly useless sliding window into the all plastic tiny nearly useless bed.
