A few additions to make me feel cool.
So four days after installing my new APEX fog lights I ran down to Home Depot to grab a few things and when I came out someone had backed into the front of my truck. Bent the skid plate, f'ed up the bumper pretty good and broke the tabs off the headlight but nothing looked bent underneath so I said F it and did this! I need to upgrade from 885 to 886 coils tonight and get an alignment but I won't have to worry about that anymore. My new Depo headlights will be in Monday so I will take the bumper back off and get those in. Thanks to Headstrong for getting me a good price on the bumper and getting it here five days after I ordered it to include two weekend days.

Been there before too. A few years back someone backed into me at the grocery store and left a false name and number

Yeah it really pissed me off. The worst part was that there was a lady who saw it all happen and informed me about it when I got back to my car. She had the guy's license plate number but when I saw the name and number on the note I told her all was well so she drove off...I never bothered getting the license number from her.

I know that is pretty messed up. Even a note stating that you have no insurance and know you are being dick with a frowny face and a sorry would have at least made me feel better. People suck.

It's my wife that really screwed up when she said "well just fix it" and did not put a limitation on $$'s!

We should start a club! What made me even more pissed off was that I parked way out in the lot and was only in the store for 10 min. It had to have been a trailer or something.

LOL, thanks Marie. Yeah that was pretty funny that two days after I said I was going to wait fate took over. Thanks for getting it out to me so fast and for getting me a great price. This impacted my wallet as hard as the truck but you helped take some of the edge off. Found out when I was putting the bumper on that both headlights got damaged also so that's fun. I will be pulling the coils for the 886's tonight. At some point my wife is going to notice the front end and that should be fun. LOL/FML!!

We'll the wife noticed! I was under the truck and I hear "what the F is that" I played dumb and said "you said fix it. This is fixing it". She said "how much" I said "let's just get divorced" she called me an ass hole and told me to stop spending money. Success!!

Water over the Dam now But did you think to ask Home Depot if they had any video Footage of the accident.

In this age of to many Lawyers most parking lots have pretty good coverage.

I have seen drivers so clueless they may very well don`t even know they hit your truck

I asked but they did not have any. I drove through the lot and did not see anything else with damage. Oh they knew they hit this, it was not a bump. Some people just don't care and think that because you work to have something nice they have a right to F it up. Well that's why they make steel I guess. It will come back to them at some point. Oh well, shit happens I guess, when it does. Upgrade!!
