So I got sand in my moonroof and need some help!

You guys could just say no. Instead of ridiculing this guy. Its annoying as shit.

Run it gritty until it breaks and THEN you might have a warranty case. Or you might just have a busted moonroof and nothing to show for it.

If it were me, I would wipe as much of the grease/sand out with a combination of rags and toohbrush. Then take a shop vac and hold it close while you blow it out real good with an air compressor (you may want to cover your interior with a sheet). Once you have it fairly clean, grease it back up. Then take your shop vac and suck up a bunch of dry leaves, wood chips, and stuff so it picks up the grease in your vac hose.

Then empty your shop vac into your buddy's Samurai.

Never said I was going to lie to the service department. So that statement is invalid. Therefore, not fraudulent. Just wanted to put that question out there. Also, it may seem like a stupid question however it is always good to get perspective on things. You never know who else was thinging of it!

I once warrantied 3 backup tape drives. Then I discovered there was a mistake in the manual and I was using them the wrong way. I didn't feel bad at all.
