I finally changed my plugs for the first time today (50,352 on the odo). I went with the copper Denso plugs from the dealer ($3.82/each).

Some observations: The Denso plugs on the passenger side actually didn't look that bad and still were gapped at about .46...They were very easy to unscrew and get out

The NGK plugs on the driver side looked a lot darker and were gapped at about .58 . These were a little tougher to unscrew.

I will never wait another 50k to change them. It took about 1.5 hrs and I can definitely feel my truck is a little peppier than before. My truck was starting to feel sluggish prior to changing them out.

I actually followed your "How To" and went with the Denso plugs per your recommendation. My buddy kept telling me to get the E3 plugs.

    Thanks!

I have had to many times. BTW he drives an '06 Nissan Frontier. He chose it over of a Tacoma. Had to give him a big kick in the ass and balls for that one :D
