    People are idiots.

I get people that pull out from side road, make me slow down then 9 out 10 times they slow down and turn a 1/4 mile later. Fools.

i got one story of a jack ass on the road id share, i usually dont wish ill on people, but this is one of those people i have before

first off ive seen this douchewad in a new red camaro several times in town haulin ass weaving in and out traffic ect... but one night we were enroute to a fire call running lights and siren on a 2 lane road with a center turn lane, a line of cars pulled over and this camaro was in the middle as soon as we started passing the first few cars the camaro pulls out infron of us making us slam on brakes and rides the turn lane in front of the line of traffic going under the limit and then proceeds to go right under the limit so we cant pass his dumb ass we ended up losing him at a red light

goes to show people are freakin jerk wads

I'm in total agreement with everyone who is advocating coolness in these situations. Damaging your truck, or injuring yourself, the idiot, or some other innocent person is just not worth it. You've just got to tell yourself the other person is either A) a total idiot or B) unbalanced. Once you think about it that way you pretty quickly realize your life is probably a whole lot better than theirs and to get into it with them is like risking a dollar for a dime.

This did remind me of something that happened to me just a few days ago that demonstrated just how stupid some of these people are.

There is this interchange I travel though nearly everyday goign to and from work. It connects a two lane secondary road with a 4 lane divided highway. Anyway, when I'm going home the on ramp for the highway is kind of reversed. You turn left from a stoplight onto the on ramp and it makes a sharp U turn to the right to put you onto the highway. The on ramp never ends - there is another exit only about 1/4 mile down so it just exits there. I'm coming home the other day and there is a lady in a fairly new Hyundai Sonata right behind me as I turn left onto the on ramp. As I said the on ramp is a fairly sharp U to the right - so you can't really get up to highway speed (65 mph there) until you hit the straight part that puts you on the highway. I'm doing normal speed, just coming out of the U and accelerating and she shoots out of the on ramp to the left behind me and starts to pass me while I'm still in the on ramp lane. She cut through the painted off triangular section that is not really part of any lane. I'm like, whatever, figure she'll speed ahead of me - because she' obviously in a hurry - I'm not trying to accelerate at all - just letting her go by. She gets to the speed I'm travelling just as she pulls next to me - and then stops accelerating. I look over at her like WTF - seriously, I just looked at her with a half smile on my face - didn't yell or make any kind of gesture at all. She floors it, gets about a car length in front of me and then jerks the car into the lane right in front of me - AND GETS OFF AT THE NEXT EXIT WITH ABOUT 100ft TO SPARE. I'm like, really - you go through all that - endangering herself, me, our vehicles - so she could exit the highway 50 ft in front of me. Smiled all the way home pondering her stupidity.

nah, because the police cant prove who the driver was and they have to "observe what happened" kinda like getting a dwi...which isnt even that bad in this state

    This thread is awesome.
Ususally I just give a hard brake check and they leave me alone. Dust light is for really stupid people and People usually think twice before brake checking me when my my truck will usually go on top of theres haha. I had a guy once get out of his car at a light because i honked at him for nearly hitting me when cutting me off. At this point i felt threatened. I almost floored it to smash his car because he was so pissed and I was kind of scared haha. My friend calmed me down and he cam up yelling at me and cursing. I just said the lights Fffing green move your car or i will for you!!!

I remember reading online somewhere, it may have been here, this guy in a truck was getting tailgated by someone in a brand new bmw or something and he wouldn't get off his ass...so the guy in the truck knew there were some really bad pot holes coming up on the right, so at the last minute the guy in the truck corrects while the bmw probably would require some new suspension work. I thought this story was hilarious :D
