So I spent some money on my truck

I pick up the exhaust tomorrow and ordered the Subbie tweeters to throw on the Truck...
Hopefully drown some of this noise out. At least you can't say I'm not trying .

 

Hope it works. Have you considered adding the sound deadening material to put in the floor, doors, and roof?

 

Not going to crack the door panels open yet. I do need to figure out if my door is rattling against the cab or if it's the actual panel. Temp swings make certain things pop up at diff times. Looking to just not hear my differential at all and the tsb got it quiet enough im hoping the exhaust will completely mask it.

Next step is louder tires .

I got a trd cat back. one I don't want any issues from Toyota given the warranty rate with my truck and two I want to help mask the sound of the rear end.

They came out with a TSB that dampens the noise but does not eliminate it. Its quieter for sure but it got a little louder after the tsb and I just don't want to deal with it.

Look I'm trying to have a happy thread here not rehash problems (trying to move on and be happy with the vehicle). Ive got mods people!

 

That thread was what turned me on to the tweeters. Waiting for another sale.

 

The TRD catback is really nice.... I didn't know what exactly I was getting in too but all in all it's a very refined but deeper sound and definitely louder but not obnoxious. My truck actually seems to move a little better(smoother) .
