^ I never go to a dealership to work with my aftermarket rims, therefore I go to the place I purchased the rims and tires they normally offer a lifetime tire rotation, to which I use. They have the tools to handle the aftermarket rims (locks, thin walled sockets, better balancing machine, and tire removal tool that won't scar nice wheels.)

As you can tell by the Op's post the dealership can hardly remove the rims so he won't be using them again, I wouldn't think.

    welcome to the internet
was just messing with you man. but on the other hand,
when you bought your wheels, they didn't give you a key? I'm just confused as to why or what lugs would require an allen/with a thin walled socket...if not a key?
hope you find the correct tool you need, god forbid you need it on the roadside some day

The allen should be to remove his center cap, the thin socket is to make sure when removing the lugs they won't rub the rim. His rims aren't keyed, they just require a thin walled socket.

So you never balance your tires. Or you don't have a real answer so you want to cry like a baby without facts... So you are right you should shut the fuck up. Without facts you are as useless as a 3 dollar bill.

    oil change...
I had to buy a thin walled socket for my wheels too. and I also need an allen wrench to remove the center cap. I however have and keep those tools in my truck in the event of needing to change a tire :D
    $6 for socket
$12 for big ass torque wrench/breaker bar
like 2 bucks for a set of allens....... from harbor freight

I have been a member longer, so that makes you a certified mechanic, as you have yet to answer the question.

As to balance, the weights at times fall off, especially after going off road. I pay the 5 bucks extra per tire to get them to cover the lost weights. So I do not see a problem with having a shop rotating and balancing my tires.

Again, if you have real facts talk. If not go have your mommy rub your hurts.

I bought the rims online because no dealer could get them in less than 3 months. And the shop that put them on is pretty much a 4x4 place and didn't offer free rotations and balancing. Buuuuut that sounds like you got a sweet deal on that one bruh!

All and all.... I've had my last visit to the dealership!

True on all accounts. I do not rotate mine, and that is more out of laziness. And really I just wanted to know if there was a solution out there. I only hated you for 4 seconds, but it's all good.

Dang, my mechanic changes oil with a semi syn, rotates tires, lubes the zerks, lubes the door hinges, fills the rest of the fluids, vacs the vehicle and washes window inside and out, for $25.00. It's not worth my time to do it myself these days. Plus gives me discounts on everything else, except the gas.
I'm in NJ, we don't pump our own and it's always less than neighboring states.
