When you say core support, what particular area are you referring to? So what you are saying is that they (and you) have all kinds of body line issues because of this very problem?

Lol. You make me happy now.

Speaking of the inner fender area, what to do with that to minimize rubbing and banging of the UCA? I am actually running the stock UCA right now with extended travel SAW's right now (camburg) Haha.

I did the same thing. It's not frame damage. Its all the thin sheetmetal parts the lights and radiators attach too. I took my high lift and 4x4's to the inner fenderwell underneath the battery and jacked it up till it all lined up again.

Holy shit, what? You took your 4X4's? What do you mean? How to video, I must see it! If this is one of the necessary steps it takes to get closer to max travel that my rig is capable of without further fracking up chit then I'll just go to Jerry's BAMF shop and borrow his high lift from him :D

Hey hey, you shut your cakehole and let me enjoy my happy time :D

Monkeyproof has that affect on certain individuals, it's unfortunate but life goes on.

He means pieces of wood to beat the crap out of the inner fenders to gain a few millimeters of clearance

Edit: speaking of 4x4's...I had to beat on the rear passenger door sil and just to get the door open properly. Happens when you wheel a brand new Tacoma with no sliders

Lol you should have heard the impact. It sounded like total destruction out in those back hills. Lol, it was kind of funny thinking about it in retrospect. Now I gotta go tighten up my now-loose cam bolts for the LCA's. Oops. Lol.

Ahh! What about the actual core support? Where shall I use my woodblocks to make either the fenders rise to fit the hood, or whatever I need?

On the way it is coming! Bruteforce Hybrid has never looked more better (yes I realize that was a double positive!) Any suggestions on a tough lower skid which will not bend on first impact and be able to bolt up to the frame itself? The Matt123 skid was great, but I am now moving onto bigger and more aggressive terrain running.

A few of the guys here have built their own after beating the sh&t out of the stock one. I think Benson X has it on his build page. Benson time to bbq build or something like that.

    I just saw it. [IMG]

That looks like a damn nice home built one. I wonder how thick it is and how much poundage it is capable of taking. A nice beefy skid coupled with the BF bumper would make the front all but bomb proof. It would however make the front end heavier then shit also. Hello nose dives!

x2 on what Airdog stated regarding the radiator support damage and not frame damage.
Your hood is fine. The impact pushed everything in the middle of the radiator support frame up. The hood latch is connected to a bar than connects to the bottom of the support frame, hence your hood sits higher. It will be more clear once that factory bumper is off to see the actual damage.

OP when you get some more weight up front, get different coils for your shocks, one with a higher spring rating. That will prevent the front of your truck from lowering

    thanks dude! :)

Ahh ok ok. I think I understand what area you ARE talking about now. I'm wondering if the BFH mod would work well in this case :p

I have coilovers with 650lb springs. Lol. I think they are currently overkill for the trucks weight.

I did. Lol I gave it a once over to get all that crap off.
