    Dont worry...its only temporary

Last night started a very long 2 weeks for me which I'll have very limited free time and even more limited free time in front of a computer

I began this little 2 week stint last night at midnight with a break-in call at a building im on call for thats outside of our normal patrol regions...im the last officer on the list because i live the furthest away and get up the earliest in the morning, but no one else answered their phones so the LT called me

No biggie...but i got 2 hours of sleep last night total, and i snuck in a 3 hr nap this afternoon after work, but thats done and over with too...

The state fair is now in town and because of the gang problems, and problems that arise with large crowds, we're given the option to work some hours there on the side. So i've got 6 or 7 days scheduled between now and the 19th...When im not at the fair i'll be covering for officers who are

Im not gonna complain because they pay me 2.5 times more than I make an hour normally...

Anyways if ya dont see me around much thats why...but after the 19th I'll be back

dont let the site go to shit in my absence :D

Hey thanks for serving like you do (that ain't sarcasm). One of my best friends is a Sergeant for a little town down here that's chock-full-o-psychos. She tells me don't worry, she has it under control, but I still do. Without you folks it would be total anarchy!

Thanks for being a civil servant......stay safe. I appreciate your input to TW. The pay may be good, but it is not true compensation for putting your life on the line.

I agree with the above. Rest as much as you can. Remember you love your job, and we will be here when you get back.

...and make more mod money! That is why we work, right?

    thanks yall...

normally im able to keep up with posts via my phone during the normal working day, but this whole extra duty thing i have to keep the phone in my pocket and not browse the internet

its a lot easier to use the phone when im sitting in my car...

    anyways

thanks...i love what i do and i dont mind the pay...i make enough to live on etc...

the money that im getting from the fair, unfortunately though, is not going to be mod money...as discussed in skankyota build thread...i dont really have any small-medium modifications i want to do at this point...so the money will go mainly towards paying off debt that i accrued when i was unemployed

kind of boring, but its one of those things i have to do to get where i want to be in the next 2-3 years

i'm sure getting closer to debt free is a much better feeling than getting one mod for your truck!
