In canada all TRD have dual for some reason. Even without BSM or sunroofs.

Love the tundras but I’d need a 4x4 and the price difference is more than I wanna spend (I can afford it, don’t want to lol). Plus the MPG

I made out ok. I know how dealerships can be, but I think overall I did ok.

Lol I'm getting over 17 on trips. Do the math and see how much 3 mpg costs a year haha.

 

You are not the norm sir, just check out Fuelly, my buddy who has one with a supercharger gets 17, but the guys around work all get consistent 14-15 mpg before they decide to throw on 35s...

 

Yeah my driving is not normal. I have put 10K on it in a bit over three months. I seldom check overall mpg and definitely don't check when pulling a trailer but so I can compare apples to apples I really check it on interstate with normal load. My MT Tacoma averaged 19.6 on highway. My Tundra is averaging 17.5 on highway. I drive speed limit to a few mph over. Nothing crazy. So 2.1 mpg different and getting all variables as close as possible.

 

Nice, I couldnt do it. I tend to be a bit of a heavy foot / in a hurry (don't know why, terrible habit), I'd probably hate life with a Tundra.

 

They filled it up when I bought it and it said 620. I’ll have to give it a couple of tanks and let you know.

 

Damn.... minus the towing a raptor is in the same ballpark

 

You guys just don't get full sized trucks.... If that's what guy a needs, then there it is.
The tacoma's a great little truck, but when I add my tools, 1,200 lbs, me 200 lbs, and a friend, I'm over payload.
The Tundra is a great truck also. had 3 of them, 2nd gen, but that is no 3/4 ton truck, it a nice heavy half ton, capacity wise.
I needed a 3/4 ton pick up in the long run.
