I gotta say it. I LOVE MY TRUCK!!!

JUST HAD THE 8000KM (5000 MILE) service and then drove on another 1200km (700 mile) trip. This truck is comfortable, economical, and fun to drive. When I punch it to pass she has the giddy up and GO! Yes, in the beginning I had issues with the tranny shifting at weird times but I believe the computer has figured out how I like to drive and that has gone away. I am an ex-motorcycle drag racer and sports car motor racing driver so if the engine needs to go to 5 or 6000rpm to pass? Well that is music to my ears. The guys that whine about torque and blah blah blah....if you want torque? Buy a diesel Dodge for crying out loud. The Tacoma isn't there to haul your tractor on a flatbed...it's to head to the beach or cottage, or the desert with your dirt bike in the back and keep you smiling when it does so. Even my wife loves the truck so much that she wanted me to fly instead of drive on this latest business trip. Because she has fallen in love with this truck. That's right, I drove instead of fly. Why? BECAUSE I LOVE THIS TRUCK!!! I am 55 years old and firmly believe I will be driving this truck when I am 70 years old or older because this is one of the best Toyotas I have ever owned! I had Toyotas in the 70's 80's 90's and 2000's. I know what the heck I am talking about. Anyone thinking about not buying this truck because of negative posts? You will miss out. Toyota sells Millions of trucks, then look at a couple whiney babies making negative posts? Everyone else is loving their trucks! Just had to say it.......

Love mine too, but mines not even close to broke in yet! I don't quite feel qualified to speak just yet. I'm a home body this summer, so only had it a week and hardly any miles. So far, really enjoy it more than new ford I had before.

Is that your beach or your cottage? I see no dirt bike.

At the brisk age of 55 years old you sure got Alzheimers REAL quick within the span of two sentences.

That entire piece right there is contradictory. I was hoping someone already caught that. So did you drive, or fly?

Read what I quoted of your original post on my last post. It says you drove but earlier it says your wife wanted you to fly. So you were inferring that you ended up flying but you drove instead. Hence what I say, contradictory.
