They can’t give Titans away. No one wants those things.

The Frontier's design is old. But I'm driving a rig that was penned in 2003. So who am I to judge? :D

I wouldn't really have an issue owning the current Frontier. It would suit my truck needs just as well as my Tacoma.

Also...the "latest and greatest" mean nothing to me. Give me trailing edge tech over leading edge tech any day....or as they call it in the business..."bleeding edge".

Can you blame them? Everyone keeps buying those ugly damn Hyndai and Kia lol

Im just glad Toyota & Lexus is staying away from the korean interior design style unlike Nissan and their Infiniti lineup along with Honda's decision on Acura lol

    Mostly dust and dirt.
Unfortunately Toyota and Lexus insist on keeping with the Japanese exterior design style.

One thing Ive noticed is that truck sales are inversely correlated to gas prices. If a car company scratches its truck line when gas is at an all time low, something is very, very wrong. That said, I haven't looked up Titans numbers, but rumor has it that the XD was a losing prospect.

i personally think that the tacoma, specifically the TRD OR and Pro trims, are the best looking current gen trucks on the road.

now all of their other cars, i can agree on that. nothing in toyotas current line up looks good. even the new supra is hideous.

Let's just wrap this thread up by stating the points that we can all agree on. Nissan Frontier - ok. Tacoma 3rd generation - Yes. Tacomas is 2nd generation - under no circumstances; they blow donkeys.

    First post.

Traded my beautiful 2012 Lava SV crew 4x4 against my new 2017 Blue Mica TRD Offroad a week ago.
The are both fine trucks. The nissan has a terrible turning radius though. Your brother made a fine choice.

    ...stuff
tranny cooler is in front of the radiator on frontiers. The cooling lines go through the radiator to “warm up” the fluid.

my 06 frontier 4x4 Nismo did the strawberry milkshake.

My 07 Nissan Frontier NISMO ate u joints like pop rocks.

Every 15-20k was a new one.

then the pink milkshake o’ death at 103k miles.

Called Nissan as I’d taken her to the dealer for all work. They had extended the warranty to for this issue to 100k miles and let me know where to stick my foot, being 3k miles over their warranty.

I rebuilt the tranny for x,xxx to have a main seal blow within 10k miles.

I will never ever own a Nissan product again. If I can steer someone away from them I will.

Love my Tacoma but when my lease is up in 2022 I'm going to test drive the new Frontier. The powertrain sounds like a winner. We'll see about the design elements.

Dollar for dollar if you compare them to similar packages the Nissan is way more value for your money and will be cheap. Not to mention they have huge rebates on the Titans. And Nissan quality is better.

I had a 2005 xterra off-road basically same thing as the frontier. It was amazing. 4.0 I went 200k on the motor and original clutch without issue. Came with 6 speed manual, locking rear, and stock 285 tires. Couldn’t beat it for the price.
