and I didn't know she didn't know not to hold the steering wheel against the stop while doing donuts. Needless to say, when she was coming around almost at redline I hear what sounds like an air line popping off and leaking. After she stopped she said the power steering wasn't working. After further inspection I discovered that at 1700 RPM and above it seems to work fine. No leaks no slipping of the belt, no noises, etc. There was some fluid that came out, but all hoses appear to be in tact and nothing seems to be loose or anything. Any ideas? I am thinking I am prolly going to need a new power steering pump, but just wanted some opinions.

Mostly stock for now, I have added a cb radio, various cheap mods and I plan on adding aftermarket wheels and other items in the future.
I would suggest not letting her drive your truck anymore, lol.

haha. Sorry no suggestions about the steering but I have a question. Did you use the locker? It sounds like it when she was turning around but not spinning the tires.

Haha exactly what I was thinking! Seems like the TX boys are having some fun in the snow they're getting. Whenever I do doughnuts though, I'm either in dirt or like 4+ inches of snow.

Sometimes I end up in 2 foot snowbanks though :anonymous:

Thanks for all the replies and comments.

Bako - lol, not really an option, it is her truck now. It was mine for about 2 years, been hers ever since.

dually - she said thanks, and your right...lol

rab89 - I am getting new tires next week, these have about 50k on them so they are about done.

Werloc - lol, yes we get crazy.

Jason - Yes, the locker was engaged.

98taco - Yes I have and it was about 1/4 of the way down, I have since refilled it with no change.

    4low - Thanks man.

pittim - I miss doing donuts with a dusting of snow on top of hardpack snow on the highway. There's nothing like taking off from an intersection pulling off a perfect 360 drifting in 4 wheel drive and go on down the road like it was no big deal. :)

LOL, Yeah go have some fun, but don't hurt the truck or anyone. Wait for more snow on the pavement, or go on the snow covered grass, or your gunna do some harm to your truck. With than "little" snow, it's no different than just a wet parking lot.....:woot:...:D

BTW, we've got about an inch now and still falling until morning, ending with about 3"....:D Time to play...:woot:

Dude, you're supposed to wait until the parking lot has snow on it, not when it starts snowing! :D

Awesome donuts, sorry about the truck. This is what I woke up to today. Plus the streets had ice already underneath.

I gotta say I'm quite jealous of you CO guys that have a good bit of snow already.

The only way that I can tolerate the cold is when there's snow everywhere.

I woke up this morning to a clear blue sky with the sun shining. It was deceiving though, as it was like 25 outside.
