yea i talked to the guys at the body shop and they told me as long as i have my receipts for all the stuff i bought, it will either get replaced if damaged (which it isnt) or ill get the money back for it all..he also told me that the tire that took the hit, hes gonna report it damaged and "unsafe" to drive on, that way i can get a 5th tire for my spare :)

haha yea, im actually having some sort of fun trying to beat up this pos yaris, i hate it, the wind throws it all over the road

yea, i hate miami..i swear they hand out licenses like candy down here...

dude, you should've called a bed tow truck. Lifting the front wheel tears the gear in the rear differentials! That sucks!

stopped by the body shop today to pick up some things that i had left in my truck, progressive had given an initial estimate for the damages and so far its at 4800$ it will most likely go up from there once they get it on the lift and remove the tire...

Happened to me once. Back in my Honda rice burner days. I had rims, suspension, exhaust, tons of interior and motor mods. The insurance said they were going to fix it, and that I could leave all the stuff on it. As soon as it got to the body shop, they called and said they decided to total it instead. When I asked the shop if I could come down and get my stuff off they said, "No, the car is on private property and I would be trespassing if I came down there." Long story short, I think they were trying to rip me off. Lesson learned. If you are that concerned that you may lose your mods, try to take off what you can. Even if you have to have it towed home first. Its worth the extra tow fee to not loose all your accessories.

Good luck. Hope your truck is fixed soon!!

This was my friends '07 TRD OR. We were wheelin' over a pass in NE Nevada, and he hit a wild horse going about 25 mph. The Taco was repaired at the tune of 5.5 grand. The horse had to have 3 .45s to the noggin. Not pretty.:(

Yeah, the recommended shop had the lifetime guarantee also. When the deal turned sour, Progressive backed out of their guarantee and said my recourse was the body shop's guarantee. They suck. Watch 'em
