    Do you just get shafted registering in CA and have to pay any extra fees taxes buying out of state?

    I hear you on all the bs add ons, I got mine from yota carlsbad and was able to get exactly what I wanted. All the others were pushing the useless steps, crappy skid plate and other bs. I wanted the dclb, premium & tech with a bed mat and they came through.
