So what is a Prius based truck called? Pruck.

Yea, it's a one off. But it's cool. Some of us don't care about off road. Some of us long for a small PU like the sizes of yore. I think this guy has done a great job building an ElCamino/Ranchero style Prius

If nothing else, he can haul some stuff, get great mpg, and attract attention.

Imagine what a Toyota service department would do seeing this roll in.

 

That's awesome! Outstanding engineering work - my wife had an '06 that was a beast (for a Prius) and was an extremely well-build little car. It's not a truck, though, but I'd love to see his build log.

I'm not saying I want one, but I think the endeavor was cool.
