So what is the confirmed highest milage taco?

Wait... so techstream can tell you how many hours your engine has on it? I’ve been tracking my hours for the last couple years with my Ultragauge. I’ve been curious about whether or not the ecm was logging hours. My last oil change was 1,800 miles and about 144 hours. My truck sees a lot of short trips and idles a lot.
It would be interesting to see how many hours my engine has on it after almost 12 years.

 

A proper scan tool can pull the actual hours off the ecm. Whwn i get my 08 back will put my scan guage in and see if it can do the same.

So he replaced the whole engine at 880k just cause it needed a head gasket? And 700k on original spark plugs? Either way if he got 880k on the original engine thats impressive
