Regarding the difference between towing and pulling, think of it like this: Assuming you're an average sized guy in decent shape, can you lift say 150lbs? Like say just lift it up from the ground carry it a few steps and set it onto the tailgate? Probably, it might be tough but you should be able to do it. So because you can lift that does that mean you could put on a 150lbs backpack and carry it for a half a day on a hike in the bush, up and down hills and all that? Extremely doubtful. Even though your 'lifting capacity' might be 150lbs, your 'backpacking capacity' is probably only about 50lbs. That's the difference.

Towing isn't going across an empty parking lot at walking speed, maybe in 4LO for all we know. Towing is anywhere between 0-60mph, up hills, down hills, over bumps, thru headwinds and crosswinds, thru corners, stopping quick because some jerkoff piled on the brakes in front of you for no reason, hot weather, cold weather, rain, snow, etc.

To the original poster. You obviously have never taken a Physics class. My mom's CRV could pull that motor home especially once it's got some rolling momentum. Could it "tow" it down the highway? Hell no but to move it under 5mph a couple feet is not an impressive feet.
