The only Manuals that have it is the Sport and the no longer produced SR.

Agree, when I purchased a 2013 Rubicon, the manual sucked big time. I loved the manual in S2000, but even in later years, Honda put so POS delay in the clutch, luckily it could be bypassed.

I miss having the stick in my tacoma. I drove a manual for 20 years, even my wife’s car was a manual Mazda protege hatch. But when it came to the tacoma, I wanted another manual because I wanted the larger rear axle. I bought the off-road because they had it in stock and it was the only way to get the larger rear axle. There were no pros out yet ( purchased in nov 2015), and it would have taken months of waiting to order and hope to receive a manual sr5 with upgrades in Mgm in Maui. I

Yup! I learned to drive in a manual, and taught my son how to drive a stick shift.

    2017 Tacoma OR 4x4 (formerly a 1998 SR5 PU, 2002 OR 4x4, 1995 4x4 4Runner, 1985 4x4 Toy PU) ... and RIP’s (rust in pieces) to a Bronco II 4x4 & S10 Blazer 4x4
Do the MT’s have an equivalent system? You mean just pushing in the clutch on a hill while in a forward gear or neutral won’t hold the truck? Or is it a hill holder where uou have to push brakes and clutch like at a stop sign on a steep hill?
