    Might consider a 2025+

It will be many years before this can be determined.

I just purchased a 2015 AC, so it will be many years before I purchase another Taco. Having said that, if I win the lotto, I would buy a Pro in Inferno.

My guess is that the 2016 will basically be a facelift - I hope I am wrong!

I will be buying one, but not until next fall. My 4runner has been a BEAST, but I need a small-ish pickup for my general contracting business which is growing. I was looking at the new Colorado, but I trust Toyota WAY more than Government Motors. Full size is out (Tundra!) because it wont fit in my garage, and I bought a house with a garage to actually park vehicles in it.

Judging by the sneek peeks of the under carriage , they plan to use the same two piece driveshaft and center bearing . No double Cardan joints on the 2016 .
I already own a 2010 vibrator that Toyota says in normal .
I think I can count a nice new 3 leaf spring pack on the rear axle of the 4x4 next to the same drum style rear brake shoes . Prototype ? I doubt it . Facelift yes .

My Tacoma is almost a year old. She has 9800 miles on her.

I'm retiring in 10 years and moving out of the state, so that'll probably be when she gets a new owner. Unless I hit the lottery.

It's a complete redesign from every source I've read.

Pretty much the same here. I'll retire at 50 and we are moving to Colorado. 7 more years and I'll probably trade her in for a newer one. Until then, I couldn't be happier with mine. I am curious to see what it will look like and the changes they have made.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
If the 4 cyl has that 6 speed maybe Gearcruncher can school me on the swap and I'll be golden. ;)

If the designers of the 4runner get ahold of the Taco this may be my last one. Mine's an '11 that I bought in Jan of '12 so I won't need a new truck for at least 6-8 more years.

my 08 has 46k miles. I wouldn't want a first year new generation but will likely get a 2018 or so. depending on reliability, MPG, and other things as well

I have 120,000 on my 06. I'd like to save up for a year or so then will probably look to purchase a '16 around this time next year.

    i will do my best to resist temptation. . . . . . .

i feel like we are out-growing the 08 access cab. my poor 5yo says he wishes he brought a helmet every time we go wheeling. . . . . .time will tell.

maybe i could trade in the wifes get-around on a new taco! then we would have double tacos! one ac and one dclb! that would be awesome!!!!!!
