This little '15 was my retirement present to myself. Paid cash, and if I have my way, it will remain mine till the day I die. "My Precious!"

The only way mine is going anywhere is if Toyota puts a decent v8 in it like the 1UR-FE. I doubt that'll happen so much so that I bought a new topper for mine.

So far I haven't seen anything I'd be willing to trade it for, including the '16. At the rate I'm going, mine will be 10 years old before it hits 60K so there's no hurry.

Keeping mine. It's a solid proven truck with a wealth of mods and knowledge. I don't need an extra few mpgs and gizmos with a yet to be proven power train, etc.

Oh, I keeps vehicles a long time. Ive had a truck for a second vehicle my whole life. My Taco replaced my 2000 Ford ranger, and at my age, might be the last truck I own.

When I was buying my 15 I contemplated waiting for the 16 but something about it I just didn't like. Now that I have my 15 I love it and can't see myself getting rid of it for a long time.

Mine is closing in on 200,000 miles but it runs like new. I've got most of the wear parts replaced. New plugs, belt, hoses, brakes, and my front wheel bearings should be coming in the mail any day now.
She has a few dents and scratches, mostly from my teen age drivers, but still looks dang good.
I can't see any reason to make a new truck payment and put a lot of miles on a new truck. With the minor dents, scratches, and high miles, this truck is perfect for me to drive to work every day and use during hunting season. If I get another door ding or a scratch, no big deal. It won't hurt it one bit. I also love not having a truck payment!

This was how I felt too when I got my wife's Rav4 and my Tacoma a year later. We traded in our college cars to get something better. Still got a few years before they're paid off, but I pay extra every month so that helps. Plan on keeping mine for a while. I'd love to hit 200k. I'm at 85k now so I'm almost half way there. I'll be at 100k by the end of the year or not far into next year. I like driving, and I can't stand to ride with other people. Although, that new truck is really calling my name more and more every day. I just have to push it away and be happy I've got something nice to drive now.

I traded my 2004 F-150 Lariat for a 2012 TRD Offroad 4x4 and I love it! Its the truck I should have gotten to begin with. Although I do miss the amenities my F-150 had ie heated seats, power moon roof, power sliding rear window ETC ETC.. Oh well more things go bad I guess if I would have held onto the FORD. Plus I love that Tacomas hold their value.

ATO front skid (need more but icon's might fail if I hang anything else from my truck) All-Pro front bumper thanks to a good deal here and a pesky encounter with a rock or 20, total chaos uppers.
Not a fan of the new front clip, probably won't get another Tacoma. The interior looks good but just can't get over the front. If I decided to stick with Toyota I'd be looking at the tundra
