Up until I bought my Tacoma I used to trade vehicles about every 2 years, and always having at least 2 vehicles at a time, it meant buying a new vehicle about every year. When I bought the Tacoma I was planning on doing the same, but 12 years later and I still have it and have no desire to get rid of it. My other vehicle (wife's car) have still been replaced regularly since. I don't see any reason to ever get rid of the Tacoma. It's part of me now.

I was going to wait until the spring before I pulled the trigger. My Tacoma is paid for so no worries about adding to an already big loan. I actually saw a pretty sweet FX4 this weekend I'm going to check out today.

Most likely until the frame comes out from under me.

I have separation anxiety with vehicles...I've only owned 3 in 14 years of driving, still own 2, the other was taken from me via an accident.

I am seriously thinking of swapping my STi for a Supra though.

Im planning on keeping my 14'. My dad and uncle both had the 80's or 90's Toyota Pick Ups, the ones before the T100's and early tacomas. Both were lifted 3+ inches with 35in tires, both were manuals, both were access cabs. I absolutely loved being in them even though I was barely able to climb into them when I was 10. Hoping to eventually make mine similar to what theirs were.

Mine is staying. If I want something else I can get it in another three years when this is paid for, but I'm not getting rid of this truck. It is way too fun to drive and too useful to even consider getting rid of.

I don't get rid of any thing until it has a least 200K on it.
