    ^ Key words, "company car".

You'd do better if you owned it, right?

    Nope.

I drive the way I drive and I've driven that way for over 30 years.

So did I... but I got stuck with grandma's hand-me-down 283 2bbl 4-door after I blew the trans in the Camaro.

Okay... so my coolness factor just took a turn toward.... BAZINGA!

Interesting. My boss has the same vehicle, 2008 4Runner and consistently gets 20. Mostly highway and it's the V6.

My parents' '11 Highlander, that weighs the same as my truck, has an automatic tranny, AWD, is rated to tow 1500lbs more than my truck, has an extra 110hp, gets the same mileage as my truck at lower speeds, and a lot better at 70mph.

It sits a bit lower to the ground, but those extra horses should come with a mileage penalty, non?

It just isn't a truck. It may make more power but how is the torque? Also it is easy to make more power than a 4 banger. My garbage disposal makes more power than the Taco's 4 banger.

    It makes 248 ft/lbs of torque@4700rpm, and at 3500, it's still over 225ft/lbs...

Yeah that's not were torque should be. Yes I know the Taco's 4.0 isn't much lower.

And neither is the 2.7L--180 Lbf@ 3800rpm. It is a little flatter though...
