More shitbox things... Rear passenger cubby. Guessing this is the source of my annoying squeak I've been getting.

 

Ah, maybe that's the source of my annoying squeak. Now I gotta go look.

 

Curious as to what you find

 

I found what I think is the source of my squeak. This is in the back corner of the driver side extra cab cubby.

 

I need to check mine too ig. have a random high pitched bird chirp type squeak inside the cab lol

 

I too had that noise. My divorce got rid of mine

Replaced all 6 body mounts and now my driver side door doesn't close correctly.

It looks like the front mounts were pretty collapsed. So much so the core support got pretty tweeked.

 

Found a lot of cracks on the driver side front fender.

 

all those miles...10+ years of wheeling.

 

@Digiratus Certainly made some new noises after putting everything back where it belongs, hopefully it settled down after ripping the fender back in place haha. Maybe next visit we can stitch the fender cracks back together too.

 

Bummer about the door. Mine got tweaked in high winds and that sucked. Ended up having to remove it and re-bend some of the sheet metal where the hinges attach to the body to get it realigned. Seems mostly better now.

Curious what had you replacing body mounts? Did you notice some of the settling of the body onto [something]? Core support issues? Wondering what I should be looking for...

Good luck. My stiching of the bed has now compeletly undone itself. Have to redo it now or something. Not sure. But it's tearing again on the bed rails past the tail lights. Need to redo my bed bars into a bed rack probably.

 

The fender had been resting on the bumper for a while so I knew something was up. And when we got back from Mojave one of the things I noticed was the driver side front body mount bushing bolt was actually loose.

Upon inspection of all six body mounts they were all pretty clapped out. I feel now like this is a job that should have been done sometime ago.

And yes, I do have something that belongs to you.

Appreciate it. Of course I want them, but I don't know that I actually need them. I just welded mine back up and they seem fine, so it's probably better that I don't have more sitting around in the itsy-bitsy shop that's already too full of stuff.
