    I just left the CG recruiter with my 18 yr old son. The 2 recruiters answered all of our questions and he's probably going to pull he trigger. He tried college and it wasn't for him. He wants to be a Commercial Pilot in his later life and this route will give him the bennies to help him achieve his goal.

    That's why I joined the Navy. I was very much done with wanting to be in school after high school ended. Tried one semester and just stopped. Burnt out. Been in the Navy for 15 years now and got my bachelor's along the way. Best decision of my life.

    held the plankowner ceremony today at HQ for the first 123 members lateraling over and phase 2 solicitations end June 15th with the panel convening July 24th.

    I can only assume your talking about all the shit that's going on with, the coverup of Operation Fouled Anchor , Fagan's testimony in front of senate, the OS "whistler mcgee's" fleetwide email and facebook post, etc.?

    As disgusting and embarrassing the state of the "big coast guard" is right now I don't let that take away from all the good we do/have done.
