New here and I'm sure in going to catch hell for asking because I'm sure it may have been asked before but I don't have 100 days to sit here and flip through all the threads about it. Feel free to post a link if you know of one. Anyway, I'm looking for a reputable fabricator for an ARB style front bumper. In aluminum. Probably going to catch hell for that too but I don't plan on rearending anyone or taking a 3ft drop off a boulder. All tasteful input appreciated.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
@westnc20 there's a few fabricators on here I don't know if they deal in aluminum though. Check out @glorifiedwelder and @Yotamac that I can think of offhand. I don't know if @Shmellmopwho would deal in aluminum OR a plate bumper...

OP: with aluminum you get weight savings even after you bump up the thickness to compensate for the loss of strength over straight steel but the price goes WAYYYY up. Consider any of the bigger fabricators: Pelfreybilt, CBI, Armor Tech, All Pro, BAMF, Relentless, skim the vendor forum and check out this thread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/bumpers-2nd-gens-only.164975/

    Good luck on your search!

Also: we put on big armor not the hits we plan but for the hits that we DON'T plan for!

I realized afterward that I should've phrased that differently lol but anyways, @digitaLbraVo, thanks for the input. I'll look into these. Also, about the big brands, most of those I looked at already. Didn't like the styles. Most look too bulky or the bars are spaced way too far out from the front of the truck. The closest that I could find was aluminess.com I think was the name.

Most "local" metal fabricators who have truck-building experience can work with aluminum and will often go to your requested design. If that's the case we gotta know where you're at.

Oh, I don't know why it isn't on my profile. Anyway, San Diego is where I am at but willing to take a drive if needed.

Yea, I went back and edited it. Thanks again for the info. There's a place called The Truck Shop about 20 minutes away that was on that thread. Looks pretty legit. Side note, have you had any experience with Blue Pit Bearings? Need to replace my hub bearing and these look like the way to go. Also, any pointers on wheel/tire combo thats light? Some 285/70R17's came on the truck with some "stylish" wheels. Not my taste and they seem really heavy just my how the truck feels when driving though some of it could just be the cheap suspension lift.
