    My first vehicle was a 1985 Chevy Silverado single cab short bed that I bought from my cousin for $2000. I was 16 and had saved every dime I had for years. Finally bought it... a month later the alternator died, new spark plugs, wires, distributer cap, radiator, brakes... omg.... the list went on...

    BUT... I earned that sum'bch :D
