x2 What he said exactley not much more harder than that. And most likely they will be hungry cause they are just being dumped. At lake jennings, when they dump the trout that when you catch them.:D

After a few days they start to find there food souces and then it gets harder.

All Ive ever done is River and creek fishing and a bit of resevior fishing as well. My brother is a huge steelhead fan so ive been around it. for trout, spinners and lures are all your really gonna need. just get an assortment of colors and youle be good to go. Jigs are good to but takes some technique. motor oil color is best for jigs in my experience but really it jsut depends.

As for saltwater i have ZERO experience. something i thought i might try once or twice.

On trout, use light - ultra lite gear,no more than a lite-8lb test. mono. Leaderless to a No.10# 13# short shanked barbless baithook (bronze or plated) salmon egg w/ red worm or very small crawler for a trailer, 1 BB split shot set about 16" above bait, work it along shore line close to trout plant, those fish are doped at the hatchery for shock before delivery & they'll be right on the shore line for a short time, it usually goes one of two ways, either they hit the water ready to eat anything it gets close to or they hit the water "shut off" & just group up like a bunch of deer froze in headlights.......:deadhorse:

Just throwing it out there but our company did this one time and got a good deal on a trip and took a bunch of guys out saltwater fishing.(i missed it:( ) It would be awesome if someone would arrange it and we could have meet out on a boat sometime in the next few months:) I dont have any rigging for that sort of thing but it would be nice to go out and try that sort of thing. just an idea.
