Actually I do need some work done....But I dont trust you

LOL. JK. I actually wanted to start blacking out my bumpers and stuff, and I might just wait til then and do it at mod day. Im kinda Lazy and was thinking of just taping the truck off and painting the parts while theyre still on the truck. Bad idea? I know other Fjs have done it that way with success but I dont have much experience working like that.

^ Perhaps when I'm down in the area one day. We can work something out where I'm come over and help you.

Its best to take it off and get it done and allow dry time.

We can do it @ MOD DAY if you like. Start real early in the morning and let it dry all day.

So you haven't painted it? What would you like to do it as? We can sand it, prep it, and paint it. I suggest that HAMMER look like the inner TYtoshi grille you have. We can do Satin if you like.

I'll remove your Front Bumper. Tape off the section. Sand & Prep. Paint 3-4 light even coats through the day to come out real smooth. Leave inside your garage to allow a nice even dry with nothing falling on it.

Chris just go for it man! It's not that tough painting the valence. I've done my dad's and brother's truck now. Texture is the way to go. I did regular paint on my dad's the first time around and had to touch it up within 4 months. Made the switch to texture and it's been 6 plus months so far without chips.

Don't let Ray take the bumper off, he doesn't know what he's doing.

LOL you can only come if you bring some of those AWESOME Egyptian energy drinks that make people act like meth heads.

Amazing. I was just about ready to throw some tape on my bumper...while it was sitting on the truck. haha now you know why I don't paint. I'd do it to match the tytoshi definitely.

^ get the Supplies. If you can pull off your front bumper and wash it in the morning. That would be great. If you can sand it and prep it. That would be better. LOL
