I know harris.jasonm wanted to have a mod day. I'll show him this. He's way out in Twentynine Palms though. I'll show up to both if he has one! He's a cool guy.

Depending on my travel status I'll probably be going, if for nothing else than to watch and drink beer :).

We did these tech sessions all the time in my motorcycle group. It really helps to get to know your vehicle and do routine stuff. It's important though to do your own work. The knowledgeable people should just be overseeing and lending an occassional hand. Otherwise it'll be too overwhelming for them.

Bring whatever tools you can with you as it can really delay things if there is a tool shortage. Even if you don't plan on using them yourself, someone else may be able to use them (just keep track of who's using what). Some other things to bring that would be helpful in speeding things up would include:

    1. Tools (sockets, wrenches, screw drivers)
    2. Jack stands
    3. Shop towels and drip cloths
    4. sealable drip pans (so any oil can be carted off to a recycle station)
    5. Torque wrench
    6. Hand cleaner
    7. Power tools

If everyone could comment on their qualifications too and what they've done to their trucks, it would help match up what we can do with what we want to do.

I've done the following myself on my truck:
    1. Grillcraft Grill install (upper & lower)
    2. Lights behind the Grillcraft grill
    3. RaamMatting the doors
    4. Speakers
    5. Debadging
    6. Sockmonkey decals
    7. Bakflip install

    iPod connector
    Hella 500 light

I am in, Just let me know when. I know i am new to the group, but excited about meeting everyone and being active.

I am looking at completely upgrading my entire sound system. I should have everything in the next couple of weeks, I would love to do they project with everyone. This is my first tacoma, but i have done audio installs in plenty of other cars.

If not, i would still be down to help out others, I have some mechanical experience, a nice tool set, floor jack, stands, and other goodies. I dont have any air tools, but i have a compressor and hose.

and april 18 is perfect for me.
