SoCal (oc) Folks!

The area of southern cali is so big I dont really know where to post this so I made a thread!

I'm going to visit my uncle this weekend who lives in Orange county. We're goin to the beaches, going surfing, goin to LA, Hollywood, seeing the bars,he's got this thing/event in/near the ocean were doin saturday that he won't tell me, see the sights, yada yada. I wanted to go mountain biking while I'm there, allthough Im not quite sure where to go.

So!! Does anyone have any suggestions on where to do some intermediate level mtn biking in the OC/Laguna area and other things to do/check out while down there?

My Uncle suggested looking up Laguna beach mtn biking and other sites in the area, but there are so many trails and places to look im not sure what to do.

 

Hey man Im not much of a mountain biker but I hike over here all the time and I see more mountain bikers here then hikers now haha so check it out.

Aliso Woods is good for mountain biking for intermediate. Lynx, 5 oaks, rock-it, and car wreck good trails. If you have a person to drive you back up, Telonics is a pretty famous trail. Youtube some of those trails.

 

Another activity you may want to try is fishing. Fishing has been doing really good so if you have time and want to catch some tuna hop on a boat.

 

I know this may be a little late, but next time your back that way, Aliso Woods would be your best bet. Santiago Oaks is really fun. I go to Santiago Oaks a lot. Theres also Whiting Ranch
