Yessir, second v8 actually. He wanted that fuel injection so he just swapped this one into it from an 07 silverado. He's like a child when it comes to that truck, constantly doing something with it!

Honestly.. Look at a full OME kit.. maybe some 275/70's.. I think that will suit your needs well.. They've got good pricing and service at Wheelers Offroad..

How did you get those?? I've been waiting weeks for new Fox Coil Overs from DSM..

    Thanks David!!

    That. Is. Freaking. Sweet. :jellydance:

My rescue team is sponsored by fox, so I picked them up straight from Santee. And I ordered them a month ago.

Fear not! There were lots of boxes being shipped. We all were waiting for more 2.5 shock bodies. They got them in so you shouldnt wait much longer. But standard wait time is 3 weeks.

Say when, I cannot get any signals at all, I think I did something wrong on the soldering of the antenna connector but it may just be a bad radio. If you are busy I will try to hit up rescue shortly, hes going to try to help out as well
    Thanks

No worries. I actually called a few radio checks this morning and got nothing, no chatter anywhere. Pretty sure sometihing is not right. It is not a handheld, its hard mounted Kenwood unit. I do not have access to a SWR meter. I may drop bu ham outlet today and see if they can help out. Thanks

Indeed, I can give a shout to you on my way home if you like, unless you get resolution before then.

Honestly I have no idea. These are new to me. It was on the honey-do list for the Mojave run so I bought one. They are totally new to me. This is what I bought, Lembowski said it was cool so it must be true:D

YIKES, well yes and no, quality radio but I wont say bad side.

    http://home.provide.net/~prsg/murs_faq.htm

MURS is like CB for VHF basically.

if you are in question about your antenna connection then I would use an SWR meter to see where you are at first before you ruin the transmitter in your radio.
