How do you know he doesn't...speculation? Do you drive your Tacoma on the freeway to get to your offroad trails? Nothing worse than people complaining about how other's choose to spend their money.

The will only be 500 of these cars made...and they only produce about 70 per year. Currently there are less than 200 Chirons on the road around the world and approximately 60 in the USA. Each one is custom made for the owner so I doubt that it's leased.

There is no Autobahn to do 200 plus miles an hour around here my friend.
The majority of the people that own these types of cars are too afraid to drive them for what they where made to do.
I know, I work for a lot of them. Around here.
I ask them. They say "its comfy" or the best 1 I've heard is "because my friend has 1 and we go to car shows". Which is fine, but why?
You could of donated that money towards children's well being or something along those lines to help a lt of people. Not just some automotive companies that ready have too much to know what to do with other than to put it there pockets for more sponsorship.

Out of the let's say 50 people that own something that I have done work for with 200+ on the dash, only 2 of them actually raced there cars. That's just down right pathetic.

But where's the line? By your logic, you could have bought an economy car and donated some money to charity as well, but you chose to spend it on a truck, and likely modifications. The kinds of people that own a car that expensive didn't spend every last cent to afford it, they've got lots and lots of disposable income, and may spend a good amount on charitable endeavors as well.

Do you think the same about Toyota and what they do with their profits? Do you know what the profit margin on something like a Bugatti vs a Toyota is? Small batch cars aren't exactly cash cows, they often loose money on them because they don't get the benefits of economies of scale. Car companies generally make cars that people want to buy, if lots of rich doctors, bankers, drug dealers want a race car for the street to not drive on a race course, who cares? Keeps companies in business, pushes development of newer/better technology that trickles down to the normal folks.
