    when he posted up on Facebook, he said it was his on the fwy... he got the truck back this morning, minus the stereo, amps, and subs...

    and he said some kind of rear body damage...

    unless he left it unlocked... a neighbor on my block had his Tacoma jacked from his driveway when he forgot to arm the alarm one night... admittedly, i once forgot to lock up my truck at home one night...

    I keep my truck configured as such that if someone were to try to steal it, they'ed end up with the drive train mangled and ripped off the truck 10 feet from my drive way.

    from what i understand, the truck was stolen in Irvine and recovered on the 57... maybe they were headin north and inland...

    If any thief can get through my Viper, I'd be impressed. If any thief can beat my truck's LoJack, then I'd be more impressed. If any thief can then bust open the locked gas cap and pour more gas in after they run out, then they deserve the truck.

    I agree, but when there's so many defenses to get through the chances of being stolen and parted out are very slim. I immediately get notified if even the warning on my truck goes off. If they get through that, they have to be able to drive it where they need to go, hence one of the reasons for the gas cap. By then, the cops should already be on their tail! I'd hope.... Who am I kidding? Murphy's Law over-rules all. lol
