Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Right? If I see a nice truck I send the love. Even jeepers or Rangers. I can appreciate a sick ride.

I can only think of one kid in a drive through who nervously shouted "Nice truck!" At me.

I had the strangest thing happen to me a while back. 1st gen full of kids (late teens/early 20s). Playing traffic leap frog with me on Sepulveda in El Segundo. One of the times they pass, a kid in the back seat sticks out his hand for a high five as they pass. I pull up close and oblige. I instantly hear the entire truck yelling, "YEAH!!" High-five kid yells, "I fucking love your truck bro!" Thumbs up as I'm laughing. I lost them at the next light, but that was pretty cool.

Well, at least you didn't have to "remove them from society", LOL!!! :spy::rolleyes::quickdraw::infantry::anonymous:

That's AWESOME!!! Some kids, especially these days, are downright disrespectful!!! If I was to do some of the shi- that I've witnessed/hear about back in the day and my dad found out about it, I wouldn't be here today, LMAO!!! I guarantee you would find Jimmy Hoffa, BigFoot, Aliens :alien:, etc before EVER finding my body, LOL!!! That's how I was raised.

Would you agree in these situations you can't help but feel like MAYBE it's sarcasm?
Isn't our problem but the thought crosses. Lol.

No, those kids were genuinely impressed. At the time all I had was a lift and wheels/tires so nothing really crazy like now (armor, LEDs, etc.). I do understand that not everyone will wave back and not everyone with a modified truck is a member here. I live in an area with at least two dozen lifted Tacomas in a very small radius. Used to wave at all of them and only rarely did I get a wave back so fuck it, sometimes now I'm the asshole that doesn't bother looking. But when I see something that automatically IDs someone as a member (mostly having vendor items on their truck- raptor grills or lights, Prinsu Racks, BAMF sliders or stickers or the obvious TW sticker), then I'll make sure to say hello. Other than that, I keep on rolling by. Dark ass window tint usually negates any weird "do I look?" moments so whatevs.

And how dark are your windows?

I still flash a v and keep going. I see trucks all the time but can't take a picture and then, being old and feeble, I don't remember to post here.

"I saw a bluish 2nd gen with an aftermarket front bumper and hoops on the 210 by the 2" isn't very helpful

Haha! You've seen them- they're pretty dark. I was once asked if I used a hefty trash bag to tint my windows. Don't get me wrong, if someone makes eye contact, I'll acknowledge and flash a V too, but usually it's people that are forward facing statues and I'm not in a big hurry to get their attention. That bewildered look you get back sometimes makes me feel like this:

Our main parking lot is being rented by a production company today. It might be Twin Peaks reshooting at the location they filmed a few months ago because it's a lot of the same vehicles in our lot.
