    My filter was shit the last time I went out ... so much dust in it . When we compared it to the guys with snorkels it was night and day

    Aaaaaactually, Land Rovers are a rare international vehicle, and basically the OG off-roader, sooo that's helping him cancel out the DIY snorkel mod deduction, of course on the widely accepted International Drivers of Ideal Overland Trucks (IDIOT) Scale.

    If you're really worried about dust and longevity, are you adding the pre-cleaner cyclone filter as well, or does that just cross the line of too hideous to bare? And "really adding up" means at $20 a pop, changing twice a year rather than the ludicrous 4 times a year you claim some do, it would take you 10 years to pay off that $400 snorkel mod, but you definitely destroy me on the expo points scale with your off road usage (1 point per mile, 4x multiplier for off-road usage), congrats!:humble:
