yea rear needs wheels spacers or you get a wider/stronger than stock axle; no, you will need both new upper and lower control arms and new coilovers as well since you need 8 in coilovers for either 2 in. + or 3.5+ when keeping your stock coil bucket (to answer your question)

i mean you can go with a 10 in. coilover or 12 in. but you then need to cut off all your stock crap (coil bucket) and make a solid new hoop then get crazy and do full engine cage...the list will keep going...

i always have to bend those pos back straight after coming back from any day trip...i need to get them welded and or solid mount the lowers and upgrade to heim uppers already :anonymous:

hmmm ok... i dont know why... but i thought for some reason if you already had say icon/king 2.5" (basic coilovers) then all you needed was just the LCA to push the wheel out... makes sense though. since the wheel is further out, it will surely need a wider range to travel up and down.

that being said.... basically if you get fiberglass and want it to look good... it's going to cost an arm and a leg and maybe even a testicle.

also depends on the kit with the shock length.. TC and camburg call for 8" and for 10 or 12 u need a custom hoop ect like you said.. but with the DTF kit im running im using a 10" dual rate coilover and it sits in the stock coil bucket.. but still cost a arm and a leg... but for what you get outta it its one of the better priced kits on the market...

thats true i guess... having a background in modifying cars, (i have a built subaru sti - but daily the tacoma) i remember running anything over 3mm spacers would royally fuck your wheel bearings and cause premature failure... i already have enough premature failures going for me in my life, mainly the bedroom, so i don't need another one.

IMO, you don't buy fiberglass unless it's needed. The flares look damn good straight from the factory even with 35's and midtravel.

Plus, if it isn't needed why would you want to put yourself through the hell of getting them to fit properly and then color match. Definitely not worth it. Almost all glass is not "plug and play"
