    I've seen some members have their RTT hanging off in their garage with a hoist. It protects the tent from unnecessary wear and tear from weather. Also I've seen a few cases of people having their RTT stolen right off their trucks, same goes with the bed rack. However if you have faith in your stuff then by all means keep it on. Not hating but I like to have access to my bed without the RTT in the way.

    I have never lifted a bedrack or a RTT, but with the costs of each I figure thieves might try to get wise with a cordless impact and lift and go

    Security bolts don't exist when you can buy all the bits in a pack at Home Depot. Then again thieves aren't the smartest hence why they are thieves

    i tac welded my hardware for a while when i was waiting on the security hardware from tepui. about 2 months back i had someone steal the ditch lights off my truck. figured they are pretty retarded though because they cut the wires about 1/2" from the light housing when there was a good 6" of wire they could have taken with them lol.
