Let me know, might just drive down and join you guys when you leave

Poor man's way of turning a black truck into a more "grey" color, which is what I initially wanted when I was shopping for a truck.

Who's the guy with the 2nd gen built Prerunner (I assume) with the license plate "CANT 4WD" ...spotted you coming down the 330 in Big Bear while I was in monstrous stop and go traffic trying to go up yesterday. I know I've seen the truck on here before, recognized the plate

Almost turned around to follow him back down...spent an hour at least just getting from the bottom of the 330 up to Green Valley Lake Blvd, where we took fire roads to Big Pine campground and then to Fawnskin from there...was absolutely nuts how much traffic there was going up. Should've just started from the backside and taken fire roads the entire way. Fire roads were virtually empty though luckily, there was a ton of ice from the freezing temps during the daytime lately.

Stop and go traffic going up that mountain is absolute hell with a manual let me tell you, lol. I was about to lose my mind

OH I saw him too, on his way down. Myself and the GF were going up around 11:30, ended up turning round because of how bad it was. What time did you go up?

We hit the 330 right around 11am, so not much earlier than you...I'm sure it only got worse. I was on the fence about going yesterday but when we woke up in the morning, GPS showed it as being a clear shot 1 hr 45 min from Pasadena to Big Bear City...figured everyone was hung over from NYE and decided to stay home. Nope...they all just had the same idea that we did and showed up at the same time lol.

To make matters worse, I had my wife and her dad in my xtra cab 1st gen...she was crammed in the tiny jump seats in the back and his 6'3 arse was in the passenger seat lol. They were miserable

Luckily the plan was just to get to Green Valley Blvd and take the fire roads which we did, so that made it bearable for me at least...they didn't like being crammed in there on the fire roads though either.

Took the 18 back down the other side to get home, through Hesperia....and the 15 freeway was nuts. It was a stressful driving day
