Saw a guy running this setup. Sold me on archive over other competitors. He ended up with a custom leaf pack made by a member on here that ended up using quite a bit of the available travel while staying over axel

Blackout14 doesn't make those leaf packs anymore. :(

I guess there is nothing inherently bad about a leaf over setup. However, the nice part about going "leaf under" is you lower your ride height while still maintaining a lot of uptavel.

I don't know of anyone who has installed a "daily driver" link kit ( https://giantmotorsports.com/index.php/product/daily-driver-link-kit/ ) or any link setup which allows you to keep your bed and stock fuel take, but that would be the ultimate in adjustability and ride quality. Giant has that kit for sale but it must be around 6k for full install. I wonder how much a local fab shop would charge to build a simple stadium style link setup (just tubular trailing arms) with the coil overs off the axle pulling 16" of travel. Now that would be sweet.

Remember the name of the person who did the leaf pack? Im shooting to go Deavers this time around - Not sure if I'll need custom since the bed load will be low

If I'm doing anything to the rear to match a +2 Kit upfront, it'd be the DMZ SUA Kit with archives 2.5x14" Bypasses.

Then some 2.5x8 coilovers and bypasses

I know man! Stock-ish is what I'm aiming for but who knows where the build will go :spending:

Really loving the interior in this truck. I think it has to be the biggest upgrade coming from the 2nd gen. The steering wheel...god I love buttons that work! One thing I've noticed though is that the audio volume only gets so loud...I feel like I can have it maxed out and it's definitely loud, but not even close to any other car I've had before.

Took the truck to Big Bear today to get some laps in. Was very happy with how the KO2’s did in the snow!

Nice. I heard they got a little snow. Nothing like smashing up to bear in the morning, shredding, then heading out to the desert to beat on the truck , mercilessly , that night.

A competitor to the Falkens I was previously thinking about buying.

Not much info out there on it. Seems like ~63lbs, ~34.25 actual height, and load range D.

    I do!

Great tire so far. Quite a few wheeling trips on them. On road they are quite, off-road they get traction. You have to air down pretty low to get a wider footprint though as their sidewall is strong.

I for sure don’t miss my 2nd Gen interior compared to my new truck. I’ve noticed the volume thing too. Looking forward to this build, loved your last truck!

Good tire , good tread and not too heavy for the size. My 265/75r16 are 66lbs yet E rated and they are a little too heady for the size.

When you install your extended travel coil overs up front I highly recommend you cycle your suspension with your new tires on the truck (with out the coil overs installed) in the garage so you can see what you are going to need to trim. Turn the wheel fully left/right and cycle the suspension up /down all 9” of travel to make sure you won’t rub. You seem like you are actually going to use your suspension unlike most of these guys so that 34” tire is going to rub against some things a lot as you off-road , unless you trim. The mud flaps gotta go, rear fenders wells maybe and possibly the metal cab mount . Don’t bother reading through TW testimonials about clearing tires (probably from some dude with a spacer lift who thinks overlanding at 5mph is gnar stuff)... physically cycle that suspension while you are installing the coil overs anyways. If you aren’t going to do the install yourself have the shop do this for you.

Yeah they look to be the perfect tire!

And I definitely will do cycling work like I did on my last truck. I'm used to hammering and cutting to make things fit
