    i dont think our dash's have the ability of doing that. I tried to set the needle on the tach to change from blue to red at redline but couldnt get it to work right.

    It can be done, be it requires some pretty extensive work. Microprocessors and custom made bread boards are required to get it to work right. Here is an extremely long and detailed write-up on the dash I posted.

    Yes this is the whole dilemma with getting this done. I could do a loaner set.. but the shipping expenses would increase the cost to have the mod done.

    correct me if im wrong, but u cant switch out the dash set with a " loaner set" due to the mileage right

    a loaner set would be a used set that i would loan to you while i doyours.. then you put yours back in when im done and the mileage is only off by how much you drove while i had your gauges.. but that doubles the shipping costs.

    now that i have driven around in the evening, this coloring just looks like it should have been there all along.
