Yeah, I was coming back from and MTB race in Steamboat and live in Monument. I was just south of Greenland Rd when traffic decided 5mph was a better speed than 70. There's a reason they teach you that 3 second following distance in driving programs, cause even if you're not tailgating (like me), a dead stop on the highway requires some stopping distance and reaction time. (Especially because Taco's don't have remarkable brakes)

 

Damn man, I've seen some wicked ones right after county line but good thing you are ok

 

Thanks, that stretch between Monument and Castle Rock sucks. The accident was more minor than it looks, I just took so much damage because my bumper dipped below the F150 in front of me and I missed the actual structural part of the bumper.

 

Build specs updated, I ordered Kings last week as part of the recent GB. Hopefully I'll get my REI coupon soon and then I'll order my Tepui RTT.

 

Tepui Kukenam is ordered! So much change is coming once I get my truck back from the shop! Some of it includes:

-King suspension front and rear
-Pelfreybilt front bumper
-KB Voodoo bed bars
-Tepui Kukenam RTT
-TRD Sport hood
-HID headlights
-Maybe a couple more odds and ends

 

Got my Kings! Waiting on my Dakars and extended brake lines to come in.

 

The truck is almost FINALLY back from collision repair and I got a teaser shot...

 

After not having the truck for 2 1/2 months I finally got it back from collision repair today! I had a few things added during repair, including a Pelfreybilt bumper, HID headlights, and a TRD Sport scooped hood. I have my Kings awaiting install (aka me freeing up a day to do it) and I'll be picking up my Tepui Kukenam from REI tomorrow!

It's the best thing ever, @AJT DESIGN makes some sweet stuff and I've since traced the shift pattern with a fine point silver Sharpie for a bit more contrast.

 

Hells yeah...I have been looking for a replacement but never seen one I liked. I'm differently ordering one for mine.

 

Dropped my Tepui Kukenam Sky on last night with some @KB Voodoo bed bars so I could keep my tonneau. Really need to install the Kings and Dakars to handle the new weight from the Pelfreybilt front bumper and tent.

 

Heck yeah looks great Can't wait for my RTT

Going with Tuffstuff "Ranger" After calling different mfg the customer service at Tuffstuff was what sold me on them.

 

Got my mate gray 16" @SCSPerformance Ray10's on. I'm rubbing pretty bad at any turn, but I'm working on installing my Kings now, and that should take care of it. The truck is really coming together!

 

Kings and Dakar leaf packs installed! Ended up getting ~2.5" up front and ~3" in the rear from where my sagged stock suspension was before the lift. Here are some pics:

 

Truck looks awesome and clean! Pretty similar on how I want mine to look.

Nice mountain bike btw! Definitely bringing my bike on the CO/UT road trip next year.
