For those of you that have soft covers, how flexible are they. I'd like to be able to transport a few things under that would hit the cover and push it up perhaps a bit more than a half inch in a few small spots. Can the cover tolerate this without much distortion?

    Thanks much.

It will of course depend on the cover, but I have a Truxedo Truxport roll up and I could probably get something 1/2 under there alright. It has this heavy duty Velcro on both sides , so you would just loosen it up a bit on each side.

    Thanks,

I'm trying to avoid a camper shell, and hard cover tonneaus just won't work.
