With that 3rd brake light added, can the topper still be folded up (or removed) without screwing with the wiring? Or setup some kinda quick connect/disconnect wire harness?

    Not enough
I've had my Bestop on for over 6 years and I've definitely got my money's worth and I still fully use it daily. However it has completely deteriorated over time, the roof has a tiny tear in the middle where the cross bar puts tension on the canvas, some of the plastic corner brackets have broken, the canvas is torn near the front passenger corner, one of the clamp bolts snapped as I was tightening it a few months ago(still havent repaired that), lost the rear gasket material on the cross member, the windows are 100% sun damaged and no longer can see in or out. So shes got some character to it, but I've used it how its supposed to be used and it still does the job. I've slept in the back countless of times, folded it up and stored my buddies dirtbike, transferred it from my single cab to my access cab 5 years ago. 100% would buy it again once it finally gets a hole big enough in it 20200202_220707.jpg 20200410_201744.jpg 20200306_110255.jpg 20200301_082633.jpg

You want a QD, but mine can be folded just as easily. I used a Battery Tender / SAE connection:

I would highly recommend a soft topper. They look good, are really lightweight, and are really easy to take on and off/fold up and down once installed. Iv had one for 2 years and do a lot of snow/winter driving and it has held up great and kept all my stuff dry. The two biggest issues are the lack of visibility, especially because the back window will get super dirty if you do any off-road driving and becomes impossible to clean, and it doesn't lock. I have a simple plywood platform setup I the back so anything underneath is safe when the tailgate is locked which has worked well.

I have a softopper and love it, prefer windowless, have the plain canvas back panel. I stealth camp in the back a lot at trailheads and actually prefer not having windows so people dont know anyone's in there. I just flip the flap up for air and light and down to sleep. Also the plastic windows crack in the cold.

This is what I have on mine, it's tucked into the driver's side cubby. Makes for a clean install.
