My 17 sport came with a factory tonneau cover. Will a soft topper or best top brand topper still work even with the cover pins still in place? Thanks

Yes, it will work just fine. However, I removed the support at the front of the bed, that's against the the cab in the center.

Don't know about the factory pins and such, but love my softopper. That's the only way to go in my opinion. The best top is ugly and not as usable....which is interesting since they are owned by the same company. The customer service for softopper is second to none.

Pretty sure soft topper mounts to the bed rails so you should be fine unless you get interference with one of the support bars.

Mine mounts on top of the bed rails with clamps reaching down to the cleat rails
