Mine survives winter very well, but then again I'm in Az where we typically have 60 - 70 degree winter days.

I use my softopper year round. It handles 6-8" of snow no problem. You just have to be careful cleaning the windows (to not scratch them)

I had a bestop that i used through a couple of winters and it held up great. the only mistake i made one time was taking off the side windows when it was freezing out and trying to get them back on.

I've gotten down to the teens with mine.

Some words of softtopper wisdom: If you plan having the softtopper in the deployed position at all during the colder months/times, deploy it BEFORE it gets cold and leave it deployed.

I made the mistake of rolling up the sides and back during the daytime. Later I realized I needed them down during the evening and the temperature had dropped. It was a real task to pull down the fabric and snap the buttons again.

The clear vinyl will tear. I just experienced this in -10 C weather. Looks like I need a replacement!

No problems here in Michigan. Mine lives on the truck year around and us outside most the time.

I have the softopper brand, no issues in northern utah. I got it since I do too much wheeling and the fiberglass top would eventually crack. It lives on the truck about 4 months out of the year, the other half I use my tent rack.

Anyone experiencing sagging in your softtopper? We’ve had record snowfall in Flagstaff this winter and I think the weight has caused some stress on the topper despite the website saying there is no need to remove the softtopper in winter for this reason.
