usually the factory equipped shocks/struts will give the most cushy ride, although they might not be as durable(long lasting) and perform as well as a heavy duty aftermarket variety.

Unsprung weight, carry something in the bed. Sport shocks are stiffer, to give a more sportier feel.

The Sport models have stiffer shocks for a more "sporty" ride. Try some of the off road shocks as others have said.

Got the rear Bilsteins installed today, easy enough. didn't have to pull the rear wheels........yes less jarring in the rear over the speed bumps in the mall parking lot. its going to be a few more days before I can get the fronts done, all the local shops want $250.00 to put them on.

Great to hear. $250 seems a tad bit high. However, they are removing the coils and putting them on the new shocks. That's where all the cost is. Try calling 4Wheel Parts if there is one around you, or Discount Tire Direct if one is around. These are reputable places that do this all the time. You can also check Firestone.

Someone else will chime in but I think you might need a realignment too. I think if you remove the coils or install coils you have to have it checked at least. Firestone will offer lifetime alignment for a lower price than most specialty shops.

That is my only complaint on my limited. I’m not an off-roader and not educated enough to consider this before hand. I thought I could run over speed bumps like a champ like my cousins late model camera...nope. It’s stiff. I know it’s something I could change, but I kind of like the fact that I can handle a tad bit better because I’m coming from a sports car daily so it helps to know I can handle a tad better even though it’s a truck and I’m not supposed to drive it like a low profile sports vehicle. I’m torn about this..comfort or keeping up with my sometimes aggressive turns...hmmm...
